Dark times at the tower"A dungeon horrible, on all sides round, It was a bit gloomy and we couldn't see the ball and we lost. The night started well, the Ravens batting collapsed and we only needed 21 runs to win with three overs to go... And then the last of our recognised batsmen (Jim Thornhill) was stumped ... and we stuttered to a halt, ten runs short. Interesting statistic - extras conceded by them: 2; extras conceded by us: 21.
