Ravens race to match target

The Fallopians amassed a decent total on a wicket slippery after a day's rain, but as ever, it seems, the opposition reached the target with overs to spare.

The match featured the Old Fallopian debuts of ex-pat Aussies Paul Sultana and Steve Cahill, as well as of the home-grown James Watt.

Philip Barrass, captaining, top-scored with 38 not out, while Justin Roy had most success with the ball, taking two for 24 off four overs.

A vocal Caribbean contingent on the boundary cajoled and encouraged the Raven's batsmen to overtake the Fallopian total of 114 with two and a half overs still to go.
