Weekend fixtures organiser: Andy Huckle
Weekend treasurer: Peter Frisby
Weekend tour organiser: David Sultanti
Mid-week organiser: Philip Barrass
Kit quartermaster: John Shaw
Director of Cricket: Simon Hemelryk
Club secretary: Tim Castle
Peter Frisby will continue to provide home match teas
In a review of the 2011 season’s weekend fixtures, it was agreed:
The fixture list was a success, apart from a couple of fixtures in south
London we cancelled because we could not get enough players.
Parliament Hill should continue as our main “home” venue
Playing matches on either Saturdays or Sundays was liked, and should
continue.
We should avoid booking fixtures in south London, except for
Chiselhurst, which is relatively easy to reach from Hackney.
Nets:
Tim Castle has booked nets on Sundays at Bethnal Green Technology
Centre, as before. But only one lane, for one hour at 11am, for nine
sessions @£25 each, from February 26 to April 29. The fee will remain at
£6 per player.
Kit:
John Shaw reported we have four good match bats. There was no need to
buy any more kit, other than boundary markers.
Andy Huckle handed over six match balls, bought from Morrant for £75.
Agreed we should buy another six balls of similar quality.
Weekend finances:
Peter Frisby said the club was £48 in surplus.
Fee for home weekend games will continue to be £10 per person, (£3.50
for pitch; £6.50 for tea)
Andy Huckle to tell opponents that their fee will be £10 per person
including tea, £5 without tea.
Tour:
David Sultanti to organise, probably in the third week of July, against
Mermaids and another side.
Any other business:
Proposals that the club should have its own haka (Sultanti) and/or
relocate to Twickenham (Hemelryk) were rejected
