April 25, 2007 League vs London Fields Lost by 14 runs

Notes from the front:

I'd say that, if we'd had a full team, which would have given us an extra fielder and another 20 runs in the middle order, we'd have won well. Restricting the opposition to 107 when we only had four fielders took some pretty fine bowling from John, Adam, Peter, Ed and Fred. Adam was particularly good, I thought. The wicketkeeping was, naturally, first-class. Batting wasn't bad (apart from me being run out by a good eight yards—too much indoor cricket where the pitch is shorter) but, as I say, we just needed one or more blades. - Simon Hemelryk

Good natured match but lost (we were one short).
Match started at 6.15 and ended just before it was getting too difficult to see the ball (8.15), next week's match should give us an extra 15 minutes light.
Team bowled well and fielded well. - Peter Frisby

Team:John Shaw, Simon Hemelryck, Adam Stainton, Ed Paleit, Kit Wright, Peter Frisby, Freddie Barrass, (Justin Roy - selected, did not play)
